Before we begin this article, a warning -- fi you have not watched Thursday night's new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" just yet, it is likely not in your best interest to keep reading. Otherwise, keep going to catch a glimpse at what is coming up on the show.
On next week's new episode, we are going to see the first act really put into motion now that Klaus' mother is back and the goal is to get the entire family back together -- a ball put on by the Originals with some dark things happening as a result. We don't know for sure what the group's intentions are, but at least for the time being it seems as though the family is at least partially unified.
Not only is this bad news for Elena and Damon, but Klaus seems ready to put yet another move on Caroline -- and meanwhile, the mystery about what happened to Alaric still lingers.
