We are less than two months away from the return of "The Vampire Diaries", and we finally have a new piece of information to tide us over -- the title of the premiere episode.
According to a new report by TV Fanatic, the show's return on September 9 will ironically be entitled "The Return". While this is probably some sort of reference to Katherine's character, who knows what sort of tricky stuff the writers could have in store for us?
Around this time of year one of the favorite games to play is speculating based simply on the title. People did it frequently with the final episode of "Lost" (entitled "The End"), and this show is ambiguous enough with "The Return" that the same sort of the things is going to happen again.
What do you think the title of the premiere could mean? Feel free to share your thoughts with a comment and check back soon for more TV news.

I really do think it mainly has to do with Katherine's return. That was the big season finale and it's going to mess everyone up. She's a lot more powerful than Stefan or Damon. However, Damon won't be able to ignore the fact that he thought he was kissing Elena. John Gilbert is still alive, but Jeremy might not be.
Maybe it has to do with Jeremy's return as a vampire!!!
I think that it has to do with the return of Katherine and the return of the show!!!! But i'm i'm so excited and cant wait for the season premire!!!!!
