February 10, 2012 - The promos for The Vampire Diaries episode All My Children reveal that Elena will be in danger after she is taken by Elijah.
As if this Thursday's episode didn't give us enough Original drama, next week's All My Children will take things to slamming new levels. The two previews that have been relased for next week's episode reveal that Elijah (Daniel Gillies) is going to take Elena (Nina Dobrev) hostage and threaten her life.

When a guilty Elena confesses to Elijah about his mother's plans to kill her whole brood, he takes it upon himself to do something about it. He takes Elena, and then tells Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) if they don't want her to die a painful death, they need to help him stop the Original Witch from carrying on her killing plan.

Meanwhile, other events going on in this episode but, not on the preview include a possible jealous moment for Elena when she finds out Damon hooked up with Original bad girl Rebekah (Claire Holt). Also, it looks as if the mother/daughter witch team of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Abby will be called into action to work some Original magic again.

As for some questions that will hopefully be answered... How come Elena is not a witch if her doppleganger ancestor's (Tatiana) mom was a powerful witch involved in creating the Originals? Don't witches pass their magical powers down to their children?
