For the record, we do not know if Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries" is going to be named one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive" -- we do, however, know that he is at least taking part in the issue.
The popular actor (who plays Damon on the hit show) posted the following on his Twitter account Sunday, at least giving us some sort of hint that he would be receiving an honor:
"The problem with the digital age and photoshoots- no polaroids to bring home to look cool in front of friends... Thank you People Mag Sexiest man issue for wasting your time today taking photographs of me..."
The official 2010 Sexiest Man Alive will be revealed on November 17 -- last year, actor Johnny Depp walked away with the awards.
