During this time of the year, it is always important to try and remember that in the midst of all the craziness, sometimes it is important to sit back, relax, and be grateful.for everything you have. Of course, this isn't always easy when you have a few dozen Christmas gifts to pick up and only a limited amount of time to do so.
In order to help keep up in the spirit of the holidays, we have this friendly reminder from "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder on the matter. Here's what he had to post recently on his Twitter page:
"up and at them- just a few more days till relaxation people.Let's not get caught up the the commercial,consumer-based awesomeness of the holidays but the calming,introspective and family element of it.Breaks my heart to see parents scrounging&going into debt!Kids-appreciate your time with family!!! I just heard a small girl in the elevator yelling at her mom about her x-mas list... WTF.Let's be happy to be alive"
"The Vampire Diaries" will return to The CW on January 27, and you can check out a sneak peek for the episode (if you haven't seen it already) by going over and clicking on the video to the left.
