There may not be a new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" until next week, but on Thursday, April 10, the CW released promotional photos for two upcoming episodes, 519, "Man on Fire," and 520, "What Lies Beneath." There are flashbacks, games, a trip to a cabin and more to look forward to as the season nears its final episodes.

First up in "Man on Fire," get ready for some flashbacks to the 1960s and election night as Enzo (Michael Malarkey) tells Elena (Nina Dobrev), Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) that he found out what happened to Maggie (Heather Hemmens), the one who got away, and then with unwilling help from Liv (Penelope Mitchell) and Luke (Chris Brochu), things take an ugly turn. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) tries to intervene to calm his friend down, but his words lead to Enzo making a desperate, dangerous decision that causes a violent confrontation with Stefan.

Meanwhile, Stefan tries to distract Elena from obsessing about the state of her relationship with Damon. Also, Bonnie is trying to be realistic about what the changes on the Other Side mean for her as the Anchor.

As for the stuff concerning the Travelers, Damon wants the knife, but there's a problem: Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Matt (Zach Roerig) have to tell him it's missing. Then there's Markos (Raffi Barsoumian), who gets Sloan's (Caitlin McHugh) help in a ritual to break an ancient curse against the Travelers – and Tyler (Michael Trevino) has to play a dangerous part in it.

The promotional photos for this episode in the slideshow offer a look at Bonnie and Liv sitting down and talking, but there's also pain and blood in Liv's future. Plus, you can check out Damon in a bomber jacket, Enzo behind a bar and more.

Then in the next "Vampire Diaries" episode, Tyler reveals to the others that Markos' plan to break the witches' curse puts Stefan and Elena in danger, so it's time to hide out – in a remote cabin that once belonged to Caroline's (Candice Accola) father. At the cabin, Damon comes up with a parlor game to expose the truth when Caroline realizes Stefan and Elena are keeping a secret, but they may have bigger problems on their hands when a ghostly presence at the cabin uses violence and fire to reveal itself.

Meanwhile, Matt takes charge of Tyler's pan to get information out of a Traveler. Also, Bonnie keeps the truth about the Other Side from Jeremy, despite Grams' (Jasmine Guy) warnings.

There are only three "What Lies Beneath" photos in the slideshow, but we do get a look at the cabin they'll be hiding out in, and Stefan and Elena could be discussing whatever it is they're hiding from their friends. However, the image that has us most intrigued shows Caroline, Damon and Stefan staring at something – and it can't be something good. Is it something the ghostly presence has done?

"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on the CW. "Man on Fire" airs April 24. "What Lies Beneath" airs May 1. What do you think of these episode 19 and 20 photos?
