Bees and in particular honey bees play a very important role in human lives. We depend on bees to pollinate our crops and for honey. Without bees the yield of all agricultural crops would significantly decrease. If this interests you, you may want to attend a presentation on entitled "The Value of Bees" on Friday January 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg, MS hosted by the Pinebelt Chapter of the Gaining Ground Sustainability Institute of Mississippi (GGSIM). This presentation will take place in the Social Hall at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The presenters will be Melanie and Keith Dale, Owners of the Beelicious Honey Company.
GGSIM is an organization dedicated to building a more sustainable Mississippi for future generations. The purpose of this organization is to help build sustainable communities through education and action. The organization is working to bring sustainable practices and localized solutions to Mississippi communities.
