Heard about the link between infidelity and Valentine's Day?
My 7th annual Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign exposes the seldom-discussed side of Valentine’s Day. The campaign also provides detailed information to victims of infidelity, as well as to those who suspect infidelity on how to use this information to their advantage.
Every year, for the past 7 years, I’ve single-handedly waged a Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign to tell infidelity victims around the world about the link between Valentine's Day, infidelity and extramarital affairs, and tell them how to get proof of an affair or catch a cheating mate on the most romantic day of the year.
As the founder of www.InfidelityAdvice.com, author of Is He Cheating on You? – 829 Telltale Signs, and an infidelity expert who has been researching infidelity for over 16 years, this is a project that’s near and dear to my heart.
Infidelity at a Peak on Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day is not a day that people normally associate with infidelity.
Most people consider it to be the most romantic day of the year. But how romantic is it if the love affair is between your spouse or significant other and someone else?
Infidelity doesn't disappear on Valentine's Day. In fact, it’s the time of the year when infidelity and extramarital affairs are at a peak.
Cheaters everywhere will be meeting with their secret lovers to give or receive Valentine's Day gifts, which makes the Valentine season (February 13 – 15) an ideal time to catch a cheating mate.
In an upcoming series of articles, I’ll be giving you specific clues on what to look for around Valentine's Day and share stories of others who caught cheating spouses and significant others on the most romantic day of the year. So make sure to bookmark this site or check back regularly so you don’t miss out.

How the Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign Got Its Start
I came up with the idea for the Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign over 7 years ago. During the course of my ongoing research as an infidelity expert, I found that that practically nothing had been written about the link between Valentine's Day and infidelity.
As a journalist with a background in public relations, I approached the media with the idea of doing at least one story or sidebar on the side of Valentine’s Day no one wants to talk about, in addition to their usual Valentine’s Day stories on what gifts to buy and romantic things to do.
Since infidelity is an issue that affects a significant number of the population, many media outlets rose to the challenge.
The Campaign's 3-fold Purpose
My annual Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign has a 3-fold purpose.
1. to heighten public awareness of the connection between infidelity and Valentine's Day
2. to encourage print, broadcast, and online media outlets to do stories, sidebars, or segments on this seldom-discussed side of Valentine's Day
3. to alert spouses and significant others who suspect infidelity that Valentine's Day is the best time to get tangible proof of an affair, and to advise them on how to catch a cheating mate.
The Campaign Gathers Momentum Each Year
The Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign gathers momentum with each passing year. Since its inception, the campaign has been mentioned in media outlets all across the United States, and as far away as South Africa, Bahrain, Turkey, India, France, China, Qatar, Viet Nam, Beirut, Pakistan, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Over the years, the Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign has been mentioned in print, broadcast, and online media outlets such as USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, New York Daily News, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Washington Times, the Denver Post, Reuters, UPI, Associated Press, Agence France Presse, CNN, NBC, Fox News, Huffington Post, Cox News, Poynter Online, Google News, and Yahoo News, just to name a few.
While it's gratifying to see all the coverage, there's still room for so much more. So if you have an “in” with a member of your local media, tell them about the Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign, and have them e-mail me or give me a call.
An Appeal for Balanced Coverage of Valentine’s Day
It's my hope that the Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign will encourage other print, broadcast, and online media outlets to present a more balanced view of Valentine's Day.
Traditional Valentine's Day stories still outnumber stories about Valentine's Day and infidelity by at least 3000 to 1. However, more and more stories appear every year.
I'd love to see at least one media outlet in every city or town do a feature, sidebar, or segment on Valentine's Day infidelity this year.
From a journalistic point of view, it would provide more balanced coverage of this controversial aspect of Valentine's Day.
From a humanitarian point of view, it would strike fear in the hearts of cheaters everywhere.
We’re currently in the midst of an infidelity epidemic. If more cheaters got caught, even on Valentine’s Day, people would be less inclined to cheat on their mates.
