Pabu Izakaya: Cooking Classes with Executive Chef Jonah Kim.

Go inside the kitchen with Executive Chef Jonah Kim and learn new techniques and recipes. Students enjoy the fruits of their labor over an afternoon of delicious food, welcome cocktail and animated discussion around cooking. Graduates of Chef Kim’s classes will leave with a cooking class start-up kit along with some ingredient and recipe to recreate at home.

May 10 – Grilling- Robatayaki & Sauces

Class hours: 1:30 pm to 3 p.m. - $65 per class – does not include tax and gratuity.

Charm City Cakes - Veteran decorator Mary Smith will direct students aged 14+ in creating a 6” Valentine’s-inspired cake, starting Saturday, February 1 at 11:00am. The 3 -themed classes include Penguin Fun, Valentine’s Ruffles, and Peony Making, which is back by popular demand, and are priced at $150 each.

Saturday, February 1st – Penguin Fun Cake Class
(11:00am; $150)

Escape the cold and keep your sweetheart warm with this cute penguin character cake! On Saturday, February 1, Mary Smith and Duff Goldman himself will teach students the art of fondanting and how to apply crystallized snow.

Saturday, February 15th – Valentine Ruffled Cake Class
(11:00am; $150)

Grab a special loved one and continue the Valentine’s celebrations with this sweet decorating class. Participants, couple or individuals, will receive an iced, 6" cake, learn basic airbrush skills, and how to adhere ruffles to a cake. Share the love – groups of 2 or more will receive 15% off.

Saturday, February 22nd – Peony Cake Class
(11:00am; $150)

Thinking of beautiful spring flowers is the perfect way to shake off that frigid winter! Students will learn the steps to make a peony cake topper.
