Two trials are scheduled in New York City. The first trial will bring to justice the five culprits from Guantanamo accused of masterminding the 9/11 attacks. The second trial, which will not take place much to the nation's detriment, will be the equivalent of the virtual tribunal, a moral inquiry present in the heart of every citizen. Its sole purpose is to bring into account the original promoters of modern day Islamic terrorism, the original Godfathers of terror.

On the dock facing a federal judge will be Khalid Sheikh Muhammad and his four cohorts. Joining them should be five others: American journalist Dan Rather, retired Texas congressman Charles Wilson, Pentagon official Michael Pillsbury, Ms Joanne Herring from Texas and Michael G. Vickers, another Pentagon sycophant. This second trial should be held for two reasons:

1. America will no longer tolerate irresponsible professionals assigned the task directing international policy. All of the above, it turned out, were ignorant provocateurs despite their impeccable credentials. All of the above held a puerile view on the world and lacked profound knowledge of history, geopolitics and cultures. All were highly paid with positions of authority and responsibility. Their function was to propagandize and formulate U.S. strategy vis-a-vis Afghanistan in the 1980's. Their judgement was fallacious and should have been brought in question. Furthermore, they were assigned the job not because they were qualified but because of their political connections.

2. A warning to the Obama administration to carefully pick whomever will perform such tasks in the future. The administration's decision on Afghanistan military policy is imminent and the president is due to go public with his decision next week. Our citizenry should demand accountability for the blood of their children.

The men and woman mentioned above should face court side by side with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed for they are the original creators of the terror tactics now employed in Afghanistan against our sons and daughters.

An analogy, such as a federal drug case, can be used by the prosecution:

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is the mastermind drug-pusher. His victims are the deluded suicide bombers, his recruits. The suicide bombers are the desperate addicts who prey on the innocent citizens. Mohammed Atta, for instance is the addict and the 9/11 victims, the target. Khalid's terror cell is provided with the resources by Al Quaeda, the terror cartel. The terror cartel of Al Quaeda,  like the drug-cartel, in return needs the support of a state institution to operate without hindrance on the international level, much the same way the Colombian drug cartel needed support from Panama's general Manuel Noriega. Al Quaeda, in the past has relied on the Taliban. The Taliban on their end, depend on Pakistan's intelligence services for their support:  bomb making devices, mines, plastic explosives, sophisticate electronics, weapons and training.  The five Americans in question are the ones that made all this possible. Their stupidity helped create the Taliban. Their lack of foresight and intelligence further fulfilled the Iranian dream of establishing theocracies throughout the region.

The five from Guantanamo will have to answer for their crimes. They are the street level thugs. The five Americans (minus one, CIA officer Gus Avrakatos, deceased) should stand trial as the originators and architects, the scientists for the Blueprint of Terror.

As the architects of a modern-day version of the French-Connection, terrorism replacing heroin as the end product, they are the ones with the unsoiled hands who have generated the perpetual conflict in Afghanistan. The conflict with no end in sight.

The argument is not based on conjectures or coincidences. Each one of them played a role in the formula of the Blueprint of Terror. Each one should now answer to the families of the victims of 9/11 and the dead in Afghanistan. As the primary architects in supplying and supporting the Mujahedeen; these men and this woman were too lazy and clueless to realize they were creating America's pandora box. They were playing into the hands of the Mujahedeen- ordinary boors -whose goal was to keep Afghanistan in the Middle Ages. They helped the Mujahedeen reinforce their status quo which consisted of a social structure of independent tribes and clans loyal to a feudal system and loosely confederated within a theocratic framework.  Any student with an elementary knowledge of history, geography and politics could see the writing on the wall and predict the arrival of the Taliban as the necessary outcome. More so with the events occurring next door that very moment: the Iranian revolution.

Mujahedeen, a word so glamorized by Dan Rather and his ilk back in the 1980's is no longer on people's lips today. Only Arabs use the word when referring to the Taliban fighters, the ones who are now killing American men and women. As the original precursors to the Taliban, they are no longer called "freedom fighters" by our administration. They are called "terrorists"; ironically the same terminology used by the Soviet Union in the 1980's

The five who should stand trial fit five separate categories and their role will be exposed in future articles.

We have: 1. The Propagandist, 2. The Politician, 3. The Socialite, 4. The Intellectual, 5. The Military strategist.
