The ultimate Sega Genesis collection

You have no reason for not owning this.  No, don't even try.

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

Released for the X Box 360 and the Playsation 3 is Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.  This collection is everything every genesis fanboy has ever wanted in one package.  With over 40 games, this is one disc that will be in your collection for quite some time.  Without a doubt, the best feature of Sonic's UGC is the price tag.  If you are a gamer who remembers Phantasy Star, Shining Force or when Sonic games were actually good, then 30 dollars is right up your alley.

What's inside

Sonic's UGC is my childhood in a box.  I remember scraping and scrounging dollars and quarters just to have enough money to go out to the video store on the weekends.  I had nearly every videogame console as a child but I owned only a miniscule amount of games.  I would do anything I could to get the $3.50 for 3 days of fun.  Sonic's UGC has standout titles from my childhood.  Titles like:

  • Shinobi 3
  • Comix Zone
  • Vector Man
  • Sonic 1 - 3

And over 40 more titles.  You need this collection.

Presentation up the whazoo

Sonic's UGC is a proper anthology in every sense of the word.  There have been many game collections, but nothing covers the depth and bredth of SUGC.  No collection can even touch the presentation as well.  This is not merely a collection of first and second party games, I would compare this to an interactive museum.  This collection features original cartridge artwork and a generous amount of interviews and facts that gives the player an inside look into their favorite games.
