The Ultimate Goal to Lose Weight Part Two

Self-Control:

After events such as the Recent Super Bowl, self-control over your eating is the key to better results. Yes you can treat yourself every so often and eat whatever you want but I would advise you not to make it a habit.

You are what you eat:

A wise and true saying, ‘you are what you eat’. Your body needs the proper nutrients to function properly and also to reduce future health risks. Drinking water instead of sugary drinks is wise to do because it helps to keep your system clear and your blood flowing smoothly. It is also good to drink fruit juices but you have to watch how much sugar is added to the drink. Carbonated drinks may cause bloating and gas, which could escape at a most inopportune moment in the form of flatulence or burping, which would make you uncomfortable while you are at work.

Allow yourself a cheat day each week but do not overdo it. Treat yourself to something refreshing such as a healthy smoothie once a week. If you reward yourself with goodness, good things will happen. Smoothies are great to have in the morning because they give you energy for the day. In Toronto, there are places to go to get freshly made fruit smoothies.
