Season 12 of the mixed martial arts reality TV show The Ultimate Fighter features 28 fighters competing in the lightweight division (155 lbs) for a six-figure contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. UFC Lightweight Champion George St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck will serve as coaches of opposing teams on the show.
As usual, only 14 fighters will remain on the show for a six-week training camp and competition after the first round of elimination bouts in the season premier at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Sept. 15 on Spike TV. Individual episodes will air throughout a 12-week period.
