The Twin Cities' best locally-owned toy stores

ABC Toy Zone - With two Twin Cities locations and one in Rochester, ABC Toy Zone is a favorite of teachers, but also has educational toys, games, stickers and more for home.

Air Traffic - Up, up and away! Toys take flight at the Mall of America with a great selection of kites, airplanes, boomerangs, disc golf and more.

Al's Farm Toys - This Mall of America store is jam-packed with model and toy tractors, trucks, farm animals and more.  

Baby Grand - Find great toys for babies and toddlers at stores in St. Paul and Hopkins.

Choo Choo Bob's - Train lovers young old know this St. Paul gem as THE place to find everything from Thomas the Train to model locomotives. There's even a play area for kids!

Creative Kidstuff - The mother of all toys stores in the Twin Cities, each location features high-quality toys that teach, entertain and spark the imagination.

Edelweiss Baby - Located in Maple Grove, this boutique mainly carries adorable baby toys but is also well-stocked with stuffed animals and other small gifts.

Essence of Nonsense - This St. Paul store is home to countless teddy bears, along with a huge collection of multi-colored marbles and a unique selectino of toys.

The Green Goober - A south Minneapolis toy store dedicated to selling only eco-friendly playthings. And visit for free cookies and milk every Wednesday at 10:30am!

Kiddywampus - Pint-sized Picassos will adore this St. Louis Park store, filled with creative toys and art supplies for every age. They also have rooms where you can create art with your kids or throw a birthday party.

 Pacifier - This hip, south Minneapolis store is loaded with cool dolls, toys and baby gear.

Red Rover - A sweet shop in Stillwater, Red Rover has a great selection of high-quality toys, mainly for preschoolers and younger.

Wild Rumpus - This enchanting kids' book store in Minneapolis' Linden Hills neighborhood not only has thousands of great titles, but also has activity books and literary-themed toys.

Totally Kids - This Bloomington store is known for its cool kid furniture, but also has a great selection of toys like kitchen play sets and a huge selection of doll houses.

Wonderment - No plastic here! The store sells all-natural toys including handmade dolls, beautiful wooden vehicles, costumes, and other items made of natural materials.
