Jackson Rathbone has been featured heavily as of late in many interviews. In his latest with MTV, he discusses of course, 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' and Taylor Lautner, as well as 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.'
Rathbone says of Lautner's acting ability and New Moon trailer, "Nikki Reed keeps telling everybody, and I think it's true, yeah, [Lautner's] got his shirt off, and he looks good with his shirt off, but you look at those eyes. You really do." He adds, "You can't hear the rest of the [trailer] because it's just screams and screams. I think they were happy screams." He continued, "Taylor Lautner really stands out in this film, and I think people are going to be really blown away by his performance. You have these great moments that Jacob just completely is winning over Bella. And it's just beautiful to see it. It's all in their eyes."
Rathbone has also discussed 'New Moon', and his role on it. Rathbone says, "I've heard people are concerned about Edward and the Cullens not being in the film, but Edward is very prominent in the film, especially in Bella's mind. The way that [director] Chris Weitz worked it out is beautiful, and I think that people are going to love it." He also said, "It's one of those things where we want to follow as closely to the books as possible. In 'New Moon,' you don't see that much of the Cullens. You really don't. So there's not too much of us in there." Rathbone also discusses his role in the film saying, "I only shot for three weeks, and out of those three weeks that I was [in Vancouver] I think I actually filmed four days. So, I mean, I'm not so much in 'New Moon."
In yet another MTV interview, Rathbone was asked about the filming of the 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' to which he replied, "I’m not really supposed to talk about that."
