'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' premiere: what you missed (photos)

The highly anticipated third film in The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, premiered Thursday night in Los Angeles.  MTV streamed the red carpet hoopla live, and they had Josh Horowitz on hand interviewing the cast members.

I'm actually quite excited! ...  I feel like I'm one of [the fans]. - Kristen Stewart

Rob even got the chance to clear up the idea that he can't wait for his time with Twilight to be over.  According to Rob, it was a misquote, and he will miss being a part of it.

 
I love doing the movies, I mean ... I like all the people.  I've had a great time on all of them ... it's become so much a part of my life ... I guess it's like divorcing someone.

Peter Facinelli echoed Rob's sentiment about filming Breaking Dawn, which is going to be split into two movies.

For us it's kind of like one more [movie]... It's bittersweet because we've definitely formed a bond and we're kind of like family.  We'll always see each other, but never in that atmosphere again.

Of course the night didn't go off completely without a hitch.  While signing autographs for the fans who had been camping out for days, Kristen managed to get a Sharpie mark on her forehead.  And proving that celebrities really are just like the rest of us, she said the incident was "really embarrassing!"

Cast member Kellan Lutz walked the red carpet with girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord, which seems to mark the official end of the couple playing coy about their relationship.  Robert and Kristen looked fairly cozy on the red carpet, and according to Ted Casablanca at E!, the pair were inseparable at the official after party, even leaving together to attend the unofficial soiree with other cast members. 

Kristen even ditched her fancy red carpet duds after the screening, opting for a cozy pair of jeans and tank top, instead.
