STD's are no laughing matter. This study incorporated data from the CDC in an visual format shows some surprising statistics, including:

  • Chlamydia is the most frequently recorded STD in the United States.
  • Estimated that 1 in 15 sexually active females aged 14-19 years has chlamydia.
  • 1.1 million people are living in the U.S. with AIDS, 1 in 5 are unaware they have the disease.
  • Every 9.5 minutes someone in the U.S. is infected with HIV.
