With 11/11/11 upon us, I thought what better time to explore the meaning of numbers, specifically the meaning of 11:11, and how we can use numbers to uncover hidden messages from Spirit.
The numbers we stumble upon throughout our life can be a conduit for the Universe’s messages. In this digital world, there is no end to the ways we come across numbers: addresses, phone, clocks, signage, mail, phone numbers, odometers, gauges, even license plates. The most common and simple source is the glimpse of a clock to note the time. Don’t be surprised if there’s a secret message within the time.
I often hear how people glance at a clock, and catch view of the same time repeatedly over the course of a few days. There is no coincidence that you happen to look at a clock at a specific time over and over again. Perhaps something moved you to make note of a time, or read a sign or catch view of a license plate. Maybe it’s your intuition which guides you to check the time. Maybe it’s your clairaudient voice in your head which directs you to read a billboard. It certainly would have been the Universe that orchestrated a certain car with a meaningful license plate to swerve in front of you to glimpse its message. Whatever it is, don’t dismiss your sighting of a meaningful number as a coincidence.
My curiosity in numbers was first stirred many years ago when I noticed an increasing frequency in my life with the numbers 333, 3333, 111 and 1111. When I initially investigated this phenomenon I was led to a sequence of articles that stated the appearance of certain numbers, specifically 11:11, suggested it was part of a DNA awakening. According to these references, 11:11 is a sort of wake-up-call to Lightworkers to remember who they are and what you have come here to do. Lightworkers are individuals incarnated with a soul’s purpose to help with the spiritual evolution of humankind.
I am neither agreeing nor disagreeing with this line of thinking, as every person is taking part in a spiritual shift occurring on the planet today, which is discussed in my forthcoming book, Lifesigns: Tapping the Power of Synchronicity, Serendipity and Miracles. Aside from this DNA awakening, we can find meaning in the numbers we encounter. Interpreting numbers is one of the easiest ways to obtain guidance from your higher power. This is why I’ve devoted a section of Lifesigns to number sequences.
What does 11/11 or 11:11 mean? Aside from the deeper meaning about new beginnings, and the shift in consciousness upon us, when you see the number 111 or 1111 pop up in your life consider this—are you thinking about doing something new? Perhaps starting a new cycle? Maybe changing something in your life, or have you recently changed something? The 111 sign would suggest that the change you are contemplating or have begun is the right thing to do, and is the correct path for your spiritual journey, your purpose in life.
Know that the true meaning and significance of the 11/11/11 phenomena has nothing to do with gloom and doom, but everything to do with new beginnings.
