Consider this your final warning for Sunday’s (Sept. 29th) blowout at C2SV. The Cafe Stritch engagement is one of particular appeal, with The Albert Square, Hand of the Hills (featuring members of Minus the Bear), Stumblebunny, Cartoon Bar Fight, Raw Geronimo, Rin Tin Tiger and The Trims all taking the stage. Now, to sweeten the pot even more, The Trims have something special for you.
The good news just keeps on rolling in for San Jose’s, The Trims. Not only did they receive some choice exposure for playing at The Converse store in downtown San Francisco, last Thursday (Sept. 19th), but Converse has rolled out an official shoe for the band.
The custom high-top bares The Trims logo, taken from their latest release, “Delete You After.” The logo appears in white against an all black shoe. It’s all part of the Converse Rubber Tracks program, which invites bands and musicians to create recordings at the Converse studios, in Brooklyn N.Y.C. Converse provides the studio, gear and even an engineer - all free of charge.
As for the shoe, it’ll only be available through special order. The act will be taking orders for the shoes at their live shows; just visit the merch table.
