The top seven reasons to attend a homeschool convention this spring

It’s Homeschool convention registration time! It’s still winter, but now is the time to register for homeschool conventions in the area and the earlier you register, the less a ticket costs.

What are the benefits and why should you invest the money and time?

Here are our top seven reasons:

  1. Get inspired, reinspired, or reinvigorated to either begin or continue your homeschooling journey.
  2. Learn homeschooling policies, methods, or tips and techniques from enthusiastic speakers.
  3. Feel a part of a community as you rub shoulders and socialize with hundreds of other homeschoolers.
  4. Learn about various curriculum and ways to use it in your homeschool.
  5. Attend workshops focused on specific ages and “life phases” in your home.
  6. Look at, touch, and buy curriculum from vendors in the vendor hall.
  7. Your children can attend and participate in workshops just for them, depending on what’s available at the conference.
