It was suggested by a handful of participants on the NBC message board that the judges may have included some wastes of space like David Johnson and Manuela Horn to show equal representation to the audition sights, specifically the Seattle auditions. This seems unlikely, however, considering the judges did include what may have been the most talented group out of Seattle: the EriAm Sisters.
At first glance, the EriAm Sisters may be regarded as just a spoiler on account of their age and family connection. All three of the girls are, however, very talented singers, and for this reason, they may be in the best position to shake their spoiler label and push their way into the finale.
Of course, the girls are not without their flaws. It may have been the song choice, but above all else, the girls were lacking in their harmonies. All three of them have the potential to be the lead singer, but to better their chances, the sisters may want to consider nominating a lead singer so the others can focus more on their harmonies. They are coming into the competition strong, but if they want to perform in the finale, they need to perform beyond their present level.
The only act the EriAm sisters need specifically worry about is the Voices of Glory, another family-founded trio that may stand to steal their thunder. Of the two, the EriAm sisters are the stronger group, but with the spoiler voters rallying more firmly behind the Voices of Glory on account of their remarkable life story, the EriAms will need to depend on their talent if they want to beat them.
