Here's a list of 2014 top festivals you need to check out!

Boston Calling:

2014 Lineup Highlights: Jack Johnson, Death Cab For Cutie, Modest Mouse, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Brand New, Bastille, Tegan and Sarah and Many more

Reason to go: This festival, though held twice a year, features different artists each time. Plus with their two stage set up, you'll never have to worry about missing your favorite band perform! There is no overlapping performances, allowing you to experience every band that plays.

South By Southwest:

2014 Lineup Highlights: Big Freedia, Action Bronson, Charli XCX, Ryan Hemsworth, Perfect Pussy, Echosmith, Allen Stone and many more.

Reason to go: This is a great festival to "discover" acts that have not yet blown up! Here there is so much to do; music, films and you can interact and mingle at the trade show. Meet comedians and mingle with a mixed group of music fans.

Ultra Music Festival:

2014 Lineup Highlights: Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Avicii, David Guetta, Kaskade, Tiesto, Zedd, Carl Cox, Krewella, and more to come.

Reason to go: First off its in Miami, how can you not like Miami! Secondly its one of the most famous EDM festivals in North America, with acts from all over the world coming to perform for you!

Coachella:
When:
April 11-13
Where: Indio, CA
Tickets: Prices range from $375 - 450, but rumor has it, passes are sold out!

2014 Lineup Highlights: OutKast, Muse, Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, The Replacements, Skrillex, Beck.

Reason to go: Each year Coachella is known to be festival of all festivals, and this year they have once again reined in as #1, having been the first to confirm the Outkast reunion! But hurry, rumor has it passes are sold out, so you may have to check on various ticket site if you want to go!

Counterpoint:
When: April 25-27
Where: Kingston Downs, GA
Tickets: $160 - $2,000.

2014 Lineup Highlights: Not Yet Announced

Reason to go: The 2014 lineup has not been announced yet, but looking at last years lineup (The Black Keys, ZZ Top, Hall & Oates, The Flaming Lips, The Roots, Sheryl Crow and so many others) it will be pretty awesome! With its eclectic line up, you are able to see a wide variety of music all in one weekend!

Sasquatch! Festival:
When: May 23-25 and July 4-6
Where: Gorge, WA
Tickets: $325 for 1 weekend or $550 for both

2014 Lineup Highlights: Outkast, The National, Queens of the Stone Age, M.I.A., Foster The People, Haim, Kid Cudi, Die Antwoord, Cage the Elephant, Tyler the Creator and many more, and thats just one weekend!

Reason to go: Sasquatch! is a two weekend festival: Memorial Day and Fourth of July weekends,That delivers two very different line ups each weekend. Last year, tickets were sold out in 90 min!

Bonnaroo:
When: June 12-15

Reason to go: As Fuse put it: "None of the top few American festivals are as "hardcore" as Bonnaroo for most people who go. It's one of the greatest camping experiences at any festival in the world and Bonnaroo organizers constantly deliver a fantastic lineup." Having gone myself, I have to say it was an experience of a lifetime, and everyone should go at least once!

Firefly Music Festival:
When: June 19-22
Where: Dover, DE

2014 Lineup Highlights: Foo Fighters, OutKast, Jack Johnson, Imagine Dragons, Pretty Lights, the Lumineers, Arctic Monkeys, Weezer and more!

Reason to go: Having started in 2012, this festival claims home in the woodlands of Delaware. With camping, and a powerful lineup, this is sure to be one festival you wont want to miss.

Granted there are a ton more festivals happening all around the country, but these are just a few you'll be sad you missed!
