Of all the acts passed through into the Top 20, none seem to have a better chance of advancing into the Top 10 than the Voices of Glory.
The judges did them the greatest favor by eliminating Thia Megia, the only 5th-6th finisher that may have been capable of making a comeback, early in the first round of quarter finals. Instead, the Voices will contend for the child spoiler vote only with Arcadian Broad, the solo dancer whom many viewers have already determined to be proverbially dead in the water. While there are many acts who have advanced into the Top 20 by targeting biased viewers, the Voices of Glory stand out among them as true talents. They are all but guaranteed to advance into the Top 10.
How they will fare in the Top 10, however, will depend on how they respond to their competition in the Top 20. While they are all but guaranteed to advance into the Top 10, they should still focus on building up momentum and support as soon as possible. This is because the Voices do have a definitive rival performing in the other round of semifinals: The EriAm Sisters.
The parallels between these two groups are remarkable. They are both groups of three siblings, are both ethnic minorities and are roughly the same age difference. Both count as spoiler acts as they appeal directly to child and family voters, and both groups have strong lead singers but have struggled with their harmonies.
Last but not least, just as the Voices of Glory will only have to compete with Arcadian Broad for the spoiler vote, the EriAm Sisters will only be competing for the same vote with Erik & Rickie, another young dance act also voted 2-1 through by the judges. For this reason, the EriAm Sisters are all but guaranteed a spot in the Top 10 as well.
For this reason, the Voices of Glory should remain just as focused on competing with the EriAm Sisters as they should be on their opponents in the first round of semifinals. If they want to beat the EriAms in the Top 10, they will need to come out ahead with an unquestionable lead. If there is no clear leader, the two acts will split the spoiler vote in the Top 10 and drag each other down, much the same way Kaitlyn Maher and the Wright Kids had done the year before.
