As the drama of the Tiger Woods- Elin Nordegren divorce begins to subside, people are still curious about the final settlement.

Here are the answers to the top 10 questions about the final Tiger Woods- Elin Nordegren divorce settlement.

How much money will Elin Nordegren get?

Elin Nordegren will get close to $100 million. It’s far from the original amount of money Elin wanted, but it’s still a very generous amount, considering that she and Tiger woods were only married for about 5 years. Why isn’t Elin getting the $750 million settlement everyone was talking about?

What else will Elin get besides the $100 million?

Elin will also receive an unspecified amount of child support in addition to her settlement of $100 million. Did Elin Nordegren ever sign Tiger Woods’ lifetime confidentiality clause?

Elin finally agreed to Tiger Woods lifetime confidentiality clause which will prohibit from ever speaking publicly about any aspect of her life with Tiger Woods. Though this was a primary concern for Tiger, who has always jealously guarded his privacy, you have to remember that Elin has remained silent throughout this whole ordeal.

But apparently Tiger Woods felt he couldn’t take that chance. The lifetime confidentiality clause will remain in effect, even if Tiger Woods should die first.

What if Elin violates the confidentiality clause?

Who will get custody of the children?

However, Tiger and Elin have joint legal custody of the children, which will allow Tiger Woods to have a say in any major decisions regarding his kids. Tiger has the option to re-negotiate the terms of the custody agreement in 5 years.

If Elin has physical custody of the children, when will Tiger get to see them?

Under the terms of the custody agreement, Tiger Woods has been granted very generous visitation rights. Tiger will be able to see his children for up to half of each week. The children’s nannies usually take them back and forth between Elin and Tiger, who are currently living in separate homes about a mile apart.

Where will Elin and the children live?

Elin Nordegren will have to maintain her primary residence in the United States so Tiger can regularly see the kids. She and the children will not be relocating to her native Sweden. 

UPDATE:  Under newly negotiated terms of the final divorce settlement, Elin has been given "wide latitude" as to where she and the children can live.  According to reports, Elin plans to take the children back to Sweden after the divorce.  It is not known whether this would be just for a visit, or to live.

Is Tiger Woods really forbidden to have other women around his kids?

Yes he is, but there are exceptions. Tiger Woods cannot bring any of his female companions around their children “unless he is married to said person.” The only women allowed to be around the children are female members of Tiger’s staff, personally known to Elin, and married women, not romantically linked to Tiger Woods. When will the Tiger Woods - Elin Nordegren divorce be final?

Now that final details of the divorce settlement have been worked out, and the documents all signed, reports say that Elin plans to file the paperwork with the Court in Florida, this week.
