An American rock band formed in 1986 in New York, the Goo Goo Dolls have sold more than nine million records in the United States alone. John Rzeznik who is a lead vocalist, lead guitarist and does backing vocals as well as, Robby Takac who also does lead vocals, plays the bass guitar and does backing vocals were the originators of the band. Mike Malinin is currently with the band playing the drums and percussion. Brad Fernquist and Korel Tunador are the current touring musicians with the the band. The Goo Goo Dolls, their records and songs have been nominated for various Grammy Awards.
Also featured, The Rocket Summer, is Stephen Bryce Avary who is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. A gifted artist, Avary self-recorded his debut album playing every instrument on the album.
