BARBERSHOP HARMONY                   April 10, 2010

The Barbershop Harmony Society is devoted to preserving the special harmony known as barbershop.  Barbershop harmony is a style of unaccompanied singing with voice harmonizing to the melody.  It is a style of unaccompanied singing with voices harmonizing to the melody. Enjoy this year's convention and the competition of the International Quartet Preliminaries.

CELTIC WOMAN                                   April 17, 2010

For one night only, Celtic Woman, returns to Times-Union Center Jacksonville with an all new live show, Songs From the Heart.  Lisa, Chloe, Lynn and Alex along with Meiread Nesbitt, the mesmerizing Celtic fiddler will capture your hearts with their unique performance of Classical favorites, Irish standards and contemporary hits.  The music of Celtic woman blends Celtic music with the culture creating Irish elements of music and dance. MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL                April 20-25, 2010

If you are in the need for a good laugh then Menopause the Musical is the show to see.  Entertaining and inspiring women from coast to coast and internationally since 2001, this hilarious show takes a light-hearted look at menopause opening the door to educating women on health issues.  Set to twenty-five baby boomer classics, this musical is set in a department store where four women who have nothing in common but a black lace bra, meet at a lingerie sale.  A bond is formed as these women share their thoughts and difficulties related to hot flashes, memory loss, mood swings and sex.  Menopause the Musical is an uplifting show that every woman should see.

GOO GOO DOLLS                                April 25, 2010

An American rock band formed in 1986 in New York, the Goo Goo Dolls have sold more than nine million records in the United States alone. John Rzeznik who is a lead vocalist, lead guitarist and does backing vocals as well as, Robby Takac who also does lead vocals, plays the bass guitar and does backing vocals were the originators of the band.  Mike Malinin is currently with the band playing the drums and percussion.  Brad Fernquist and Korel Tunador are the current touring musicians with the the band.  The Goo Goo Dolls, their records and songs have been nominated for various Grammy Awards.
Also featured, The Rocket Summer, is Stephen Bryce Avary who is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer.  A gifted artist, Avary self-recorded his debut album playing every instrument on the album.
