The tide is high for Chicago dance performances this spring and summer

Tides will mark my third annual Studio Mangiameli production and like every year I strive to place the various original choreographies and corresponding songs in some sort of context or theme,” says Chiara Mangiameli of her upcoming show (May 30-June 1) at Vittum Theater at Adventure Stage Chicago on 1012 N. Noble Street. “My inspiration usually comes directly from my students: their struggles, their success, the parts of their private lives that they're so generously willing to share. Tides is an illustration of the moments that alter our identity featuring interviews with the dancers and the dynamics of flamenco music and dance.” For tickets, visit www.vittumtheater.org.
