The threat of a snow did not stop the music at Greg’s Place (Photos)

With the threat of another major storm hitting the Manchester area, many folks may not have wanted to take a risk and those that didn’t missed out on a great show. Greg’s Place in the heart of downtown Manchester hosted Mindset X and Polluted Remains. With a dollar drafts there was no reason to kick back and enjoy the lineup for the evening.

Mindset X made it downtown well in advance of any snow falling as they prepared for a photo shoot. Part of their shoot was next door at Belisle Music, who also braved any threat of the storm.

Polluted Remains kicked off the night in style. After the first few tracks were belted out, lead singer Alex Mann slowed it down a bit knocking out a raspy tune before pumping it back up and getting everyone ready for Mindset X.

Mindset X followed Polluted Remains with a powerful and energetic set that started out with drop dead performance of Barfly. Being able to listen to this progressive band was a welcome reward for making it out on such a blustery evening.

For those that didn’t make it out not only missed out on some fantastic music with powerful lyrics, but a spectacular light show.

Polluted Remains will be playing next at Lucky Dog Music Hall in Worcester, MA on March 7th. Mindset X is playing next at Tammany Hall in Worcester on March 16th and will be returning to Mad Bob’s on March 30th.
