Blood Horse released an announcement that the ten-year-old stallion sired by Storm Cat, After Market, is being relocated to Istanbul, Turkey. He was bought from Land's End to stand at stud in Turkey by the partnership of Hakan Yuceturk and Hakan Sabri Ozcan.
After Market has been at stud for Lane’s End Farm as part of the Lane’s End Stallions roster and the After Market Syndicate. Going forward, After Market will stand at the Jockey Club of Turkey’s National Stud located in Izmit. He stallion fee will be 8,000 Turkish Lira (about US$3,917) for a live foal.
After Market was sired by Storm Cat out of Tranquility Lake by Rahy. He is a multiple grade I winner who has sired Grade I Vanity Handicap winner Lady of Fifty and Grade and Group I winners in both Panama and Mexico from his first three crops of horses. He ranks in the top 10 on the list of third-crop sires by stakes winners.
Yuceturk and Ozcan are thrilled to be able to stand such a stallion of his class and one with his physical presence for the breeders of Turkey.
