The Texas Ballet Theater School wants to give you a dancer’s body. No whiny excuses will work during their dance and fitness classes for all ages. They are even offering a new senior ballet class called Silver Slippers. The goal of this class is to maximize your optimum level of health. There is a Cardio Ballet Barre class for high-energy low-impact work.
The Ballet Boot Camp dance and fitness class provides movements to lengthen and strengthen. Rather than marching in the rain with mascara dripping down your face, Ballet Boot Camp’s stretches and indoor ballet drills create graceful and long bodies.
Probably the most enticing class is the Adult/Teen Ballet that promises to sculpt muscles and elongate your body. All the classes give you an exciting and fun way to get fit. Ballet improves strength, stamina, and coordination along with cardiovascular fitness.
Prices for the Adult/Teen Ballet in beginner to intermediate level are $130 for a 10 class card, 20 classes $240 or a $16 drop-in fee. Classes are on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. The Senior Ballet Class are on Wednesday mornings. Cardio Ballet Barre classes are on Monday and Thursday mornings.
