The Temple of Witchcraft is working to raise money (Photos)

The Salem Temple of Witchcraft has been working to raise money for a new parking lot at Grandview Manor. They have a fundraising goal of $68,000 and as of April 3, 2013 they are over half way there. Currently the neo-pagan organization has raised $42,139 by way of a campaign started on Indiegogo.com.

Recently they purchased the Grandview Manor, which is located at 49 N. Policy St. in Salem. The historic building was built in 1898. This project was been approved by the Salem Planning Board but they need the funds for a contractor to work on the project. Once completed, the new parking will be between the house and the barn on the 5-acre lot.

Christopher Penczak, Temple co-founder, posted a message to the organization's 18,894 Facebook friends on April 3 that reads “we've made huge strides in our parking lot campaign but we still have about $26,000 to go and 19 day to do it! If everyone who has Like our FB page, could give $1-5 donation, we'd be over the top and ready to build. Without the parking lot, we cannot open our new space. All our future community plans depend on this initial development. Please spread the word and support if you can. And thank you all who have already supported! It means a lot. Blessings.”
