When was the last time you saw a handwritten note of any kind, let alone a handwritten card accompanying a gift? The Tea Spot's online store is offering their customers the opportunity to send such cards to the recipients of their tea gifts. Simply go to the page with the card and select “add to cart.” Then, when you are at checkout, writer your personal message in the designated place. They will send the card, actually written by hand with a pen, along with your gift.

Even better, Friday December 6 through Sunday, December 8, The Tea Spot is also offering free gift wrapping on selected tea gifts as well the personalized note. The eco-friendly gift packaging consists of 100% recycled pinstriped kraft gift boxes packed with recycled kraft crinkle paper and topped with a hand-tied green raffia bow.

Adding the gift wrapping is easy. When selecting your tea gifts, you will see to the right of the page, just under the price of the tea, you will see the words “Gift Wrapped?” Select“No, thanks” or “Yes, please” in the drop box below the question.

Need help selecting a gift? The Tea Spot is known for their personalized customer service through their website concierge. They are now providing a gift concierge service to help you select gifts for tea drinkers, not just for the holidays, but for other occasions such as birthdays, weddings, baby showers and other events. To use this service, just call 866-832-7768, for the toll free line, 303-444-8324 locally.

The Tea Spot has an excellent selection of tea gifts available. Avid tea drinkers, there are the Gourmet Tea Clubs. For one year the recipient is sent a new tea to experience each month.

For those on a smaller gift budget, there is also The Tea Spot's Signature Collection, eight of their premium loose leaf teas. This includes Earl of Grey, Bolder Breakfast, Coconut Cabana, Boulder Blues, Climbers High, Red Rocks, Meditative Mind and their holiday tea, Harvest Spice. (The flavor of Harvest Spice is reminiscent of plum pudding, only without the calories.)

For another gift idea, consider the Ultimate Tea Traveler. Most tea drinkers know how hard it is to get a really good cup of tea to go. This 16-ounce, double-walled ceramic cup lets you make your tea at home, snap on the tight silicone lid, and take it with you. The Ultimate Tea Traveler also includes a Tuffy Steeper and a Signature Blend Sampler of six mini teas of loose leaf tea.

There are a number of other gift selections available. If you have trouble finding what you are looking for, remember there is the option of getting help from the gift concierge. It is free and very helpful. You can also purchase online gift certificates if you are not sure what the person you are buying for would like.
