Some of my fellow working class members make me want to grab them by the shirt collar and smack them around a few times. One of those moments came with the sequestration going into effect just as all those corporate shills we call Congressmen had planned all along, while some of my fellow members of the working class stayed stuck on stupid and cheered for the fact that they will pay more in taxes so the Rich man can have yet another huge tax break.
The warning should have come with all that horsemeat you are eating with burgers, fries, and tacos. Yep evil Big Government and a few regulations might have kept you from eating Secretariat or Man of Wars grandchildren pretending to be beef, but we can't have any of those Jack Booted thugs over at FDA making sure our food is safe, or over at the EPA making sure that what you thought was a Mountain Dew isn't fracking fluid in your drinking water, nope can't have any of that, gets in the way of 200% profits for Wall Street who will now be coming to repossess your house since you can't make your mortgage payments since your job went to China.
Yep Jamie Dimon, Blankfein and the rest of the criminal cartel we call Wall Street destroys the U.S. economy for profit and you stupidly willingly accept that furlough to pay for their mistakes while howling about all that largesse government keeps giving people of color.
It doesn't seem to dawn on you that if People of Color were somehow getting all your tax dollars then why do so many inner cities look like Third World countries? Yes it is Welfare that is a big part of our deficit, Corporate Welfare, along with two unfunded wars for oil in Iraq and Afghanistan, and all of us who lost jobs because Wall Street intentionally pulled the economy down because they nolonger wanted the Middle Class invested in the stock market. So now you have no retirement while you stupidly keep demanding cutting up the only program ( Social Security ) that might have given most of us some dignity after years of dictatorial abuse from management at work during the last years of our lives. Can't have any Socialism because it benefits working people not corporate profits and keep repeating my reward will be in heaven.
All I can say is that if your so ignorant you want to keep earning a smaller and smaller paycheck, working in a more hazardous workplace, and an absurd list of demands that prove we don't live a democracy, you go right ahead, keep pushing your right to work in indentured servitude, which is all Right to work is, it is not about rights or work
It has yet to dawn on you that the Rich hate Unions because Unions are the only thing that ever gave us power in the work place and some modicum of respect at work. Just like the idiots where I used to work, management has convinced the gullible, the stupid, and those who see themselves as the dumb Rednecks the Rich says we are the wealthy convinced some of us to keep demanding an end to unions and thus and end to our rights in the work place, because earning a fair wage and working in a safe workplace isn't profitable enough.
Hannity, Fox and Friends, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are laughing all the way to the bank and patting you on your empty heads for standing up for their rights to loot this nation while you keep dressing up like the Patriots of our national founding, who also duped a bunch of working people into doing all the fighting and dying while after the war they kept rigging the system so most of the political power and profits just naturally fell into their laps.
Did you ever wake up from your stupor long enough to wish they might protect your jobs with just half as much fervor as they protect your right to own assault weapons that none of us could go deer hunting with in the first place or even thought we needed till someone told you you couldn't have one. Yep we have the right they say to a AR-15, but it looks like at least twenty percent of us (the likely real current unemployment rate) don't have a right to earn a living with honest work.
You know I never really believed our public school system was failing but one thing gives me pause to wonder. As I listen to a bunch of people who work or once worked for a living demanding that their way of life and the nation many of our family and friends have fought valiantly defending be destroyed so 1% of the population can live like kings while the rest of us live like serfs on the manor tells me that somehow the schools did fail to teach you critical thinking and we have the empty shell of nation that will be getting even emptier to prove it.
Cheering, as you Tea Party folks did, for Sequestration budget cuts is like cheering for the criminal who just stole your wallet because that is exactly what Congress just did and you all think Liberalism is laughable?
