On tonight’s episode of The Taste, the teams were pitied against each other in an immunity test, each chef prepared a comfort food dish, and then all would agree on which dish was the best to give the team an advantage in the elimination round, as well as give it’s creator immunity. Lauren, of Nigella’s team, was the first to win and so the team received as reward the assistance of renowned chef Gabrielle Hamilton.
The tasting of the final dish is done blind, meaning the mentors don’t know who cooked what and yet they must vote for the best and the worse, thus, running the risk of eliminating of the cooks in their own team. Tonight first two were sent home and they were Micah from team Malarkey and Renatta from team Nigella.
The competition is on in this very original cooking show, with renowned chefs judging everyday cooks and some seasoned chefs, who nevertheless can make a mistake that might send them home, because only one spoonful stands between success and failure, so the room for error is inexistent.
The taste runs on Tuesday night at 8:00 pm eastern on ABC. And next week promises to bring more excitement as the first elimination has pass and they all aware as to what takes to make through to the next round.
