The tap is flowing at the Cincy Winter Beerfest

If you are a beer enthusiast and you are looking for an excuse for a weekend jaunt then consider journeying to Cincinnati to attend the 6th annual Cincy Winter Beerfest being held on Friday, February 15 and Saturday, February 16.

Cincy Winter Beerfest Being held at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati, the Beerfest will feature 365 craft beers from around the world for beer lovers to sample and enjoy.

Several breweries from the Cleveland area will be on hand at the Cincy Winter Beerfest including the Great Lakes Brewing Company, Fathead's and Brew Kettle from Strongsville.

Regular admission tickets are $36 in advance and $46 the day of. The ticket includes 25 samples in a souvenir 5 ounce acrylic mug. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. Last call is at 10:40 p.m. and the last pour is at 10:45 p.m. The event closes at 11 p.m. VIP Early Entry tickets are also available for $46 in advance and $56 the day of. The VIP Early Entry tickets allow you to enter the event at 6:30 p.m.

For those visitors wishing to make this a truly special occasion you can purchase Connoisseur Tickets for $95 which includes VIP Early Admission, a "no wait" entrance area, a special souvenir glass and lanyard, and entrance into the Connoisseur Reception Area where you will be able to partake of appetizer bits prepared by 14 local chef-driven restaurants each of which will be paired with a rare/super premium beer. The food pairings will be served from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with beer service running until 10 p.m. Connoisseur ticket holders will also have access to private restrooms.

Designated Driver tickets are also available. Tickets are $15 and include a $5 food coupon , unlimited bottled water, 4 free soft drinks from the Designated Driver Station and $5 off any Beerfest souvenirs. Just show your wristband. Connosseur Non-Drinking tickets are also available for $30 and include food sampling.
