The ladies of The Talk celebrated the Academy Awards in dramatic fashion in the Friday, February 24, 2012 episode wearing couture gowns and more than $7 million in sparkling diamond jewelry suitable for the Oscars red carpet. The talkative co-hosts shared thieir predictions and picks for this weekend's Academy Awards in the attached video.
The hosts of The Talk took a tip from many of the actresses on the red carpet and wore borrowed jewelry for their Oscar show. They wore million dollar pieces of diamond jewelry, valued at a total of $7 million. Wearing millions of dollars worth of diamonds can really help a woman sparkle.
The Talk is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The show is broadcast weekdays at 2:00 p.m. ET on CBS Television Network.
The Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012, and televised live on ABC Television Network. The hosts of The Talk shared their picks for the awards show. George Clooney, nominated for a Best Actor Awards for his role in Descendants, received the majority, with three votes.
