Welcome to another edition of The Sunday Funnies, a weekly feature devoted solely to the lighter side of life. This week’s edition features a how-to video by William Shatner for State Farm Insurance that shows families how to fry a turkey for Thanksgiving. It seems that deep-frying turkeys is one of the Star Trek actor’s specialties, among his many other talents. The funny video is titled “Eat, Fry, Love” and it shows fellow turkey lovers the safest way to fry a turkey for Thanksgiving.
Actually, Shatner demonstrates everything you shouldn’t do, which results in the superstar briefly setting himself on fire. Not to worry though. The Star Trek star comes out of the experience wiser, if not a little crispier.
Is there anything William Shatner can’t do? He’s one star whose light just won’t fade.
