The Summer Set and We Are The In Crowd set to perform at Gramercy Theatre

According to a Feb. 8 report from Entertainment Focus, The Summer Set have announced over a dozen new tour dates.

“I can’t believe we’re doing a headlining tour in a different country," Summer Set vocalist Brian Dale said. "There is no better feeling than traveling across the world with your best friends and seeing the response we’ve seen in the UK. We’re so excited to be coming back in May and headlining some great cities and finally playing some longer sets. Don’t miss this, UK friends.”

The new dates will serve as The Summer Set's first headlining UK tour, and the band has dubbed it the "Wake Up And Be Awesome" tour. The band will also play at Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds, Hatfield and Wolverhampton.

But before The Summer Set heads to the United Kingdom, they will be rocking at New York City's Gramercy Theatre.

Scottsdale, Arizona rockers The Summer Set are gearing up to headline their first North American tour of 2013 with support from We Are The In Crowd, Go Radio and For The Foxes.

The tour will take over New York City on March 19 at Gramercy Theatre.

Composed of Brian Dales (Vocals), John Gomez (Guitar, Piano, Back up vocals), Josh Montgomery (Guitar), Stephen Gomez (Bass), and Jess Bowen (Drums), this fantastic pop rock ensemble have quickly become a phenomenon throughout the independent music scene.

Formed by brothers John and Stephen Gomez, and Jess Bowen as teenagers, the band released their first full-length Love Like This (Razor & Tie) in 2009, and sophomore album Everything's Fine (Razor & Tie) in 2011.

The Summer Set have honed their irresistible brand of rosy pop punk through major television syncs on "Dancing With The Stars", MTV's "Jersey Shore", "10 on Top", and "Hard Times of RJ Berger." The band is currently in the studio working on a new album, expected in early 2013 on Fearless Records.

Tipped by Alternative Press as one of the Most Anticipated Albums of 2013, the pop-rock quintet will be touring in support of their forthcoming third album, set to release with Fearless Records this spring. The band has recently released a new song, "Fuck U Over," which is already a fan favorite.

As for We Are The In Crowd, they also expect to have a a new album out in the summer of 2013.
