Bush threw two guitar picks to two girls, since that was how friendly he was.  He kept blowing his hands to keep them warm, since it was 50 degrees with some wind.

Nettles and Bush were part of a pretaping segment for the Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! to take place on Dec. 2.

They were energetic in front of the electronic Christmas Tree.  They managed to do a few takes until they got the picture right.  They both wanted to do an excellent job.

Bush wanted to make sure the Yamaha Piano was shiny black and spotless.  There were periods of cleaning the piano with care during breaks from taping.

Nettles also wanted to look perfect for the taping, so she had a make-up assistant fix her hair and do touch-ups on her make-up.

Seatfillers clapped and snapped fingers along with the beat of the music.  Bush and Nettles did a great job coordinating their music beats.

The Christmas Tree added a positive emotion to the music, and when the taping was completed, crowds grew fast to catch a Lakers Game next door at the Staples Center.

LA Live is a new shopping and entertainment plaza in downtown Los Angeles, which had its opening last December (2008), hosted by Britney Spears to do the first Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony (
