About the Author:
Bill Jones, Jr. was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Tidewater, Virginia. He latched onto photography at age 12 and grew up assuming he would be a professional photographer. By college, his priorities had shifted, and he opted instead for a career in the business world.
An avid reader and lifelong Science Fiction and Fantasy buff, Bill was equally drawn to poetry and began writing and having poems published in small literary journals shortly after college. After taking time off to focus on raising his daughter, Bill resumed writing in 2007, completing a short story that would later become the first two chapters of his Fantasy Adventure series, "The Stream."
Currently, Bill is editing his first Science Fiction adventure, "Hard as Roxx" and publishing a collection of short stories, "The Juice and Other Stories." On those rare days he's not working at his Lockheed Martin day job, or his writing night job, Bill can be found somewhere under a Nikon.

About the Book:
Charlie Patterson is an exceptionally bright young man, with no close friends. When his great-grandfather becomes trapped within the world of dreams, the Stream, Charlie and his friends set off to save him. There they will encounter fur-covered dragons, deserts of colored glass, distorted history, and strange beings galore. However, there is a growing darkness in the Stream, and it wants both Charlie and his great-grandfather.
Charlie's entire summer has been filled with increasingly disturbing dreams. Most feature a strange, dark-haired girl, who watches, but does not speak. Her name is Robin LeBeaux, a girl from New Mexico with a tragic past, and she is quite real. Despite Charlie's insistent logic, and Robin's enthusiastic illogic, they become fast friends. Together, guided by Robin's deceased sister, they discover a singular talent - the ability to walk into and influence others' dreams.
What readers are saying:
~ One of the most challenging ordeals a young-adult writer can encounter is the problem of making a child protagonist exciting, believable, and enthralling to readers both young and old. Jones doesn't even need to try.
~ I felt like I was in a movie and could see everything clearly and even hear the sounds and feel the air....
~ Bill Jones has created fresh incarnations of mythical creatures and surreal landscapes and it is a genuine pleasure to experience. His attention to detail and stunning descriptions awaken new aspects of a reader's imagination.
