As far as local groups go, The Story So Far is one that you should look out for. They're blazing the trail right now with their tour of the states coming locally in November to Philidelphia on Nov. 21, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park on Nov. 22, and Irving Plaza in NY on the 23, before heading off to Boston the very next day.
Besides the obvious commendation we need to give these guys for playing a different city almost every single night of their tour from Nov. 1 to December 13, they are not a band that you want to miss.
Having the esteemed pleasure to see them headline a show at NJ venues, they're a force to be reckoned with.
Any group that comes in from California promises to bring the heat, that's an obvious. What isn't is the uncommon fervor, talent, and power they deliver with each of their performances, and given the tireless way they're hitting the road next month to bring their music to their national fans, it's surprising they can give that every night.
In addition, in January and February they'll be back on the road with A Day To Remember to hit the European music scene from Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, and the UK (which will not include Northern Ireland - sorry).
If you're expecting to be studying abroad in Scotland, Wales, England, or any of the aforementioned European countries, look out.
ADTR is an awesome band to experience live, and the fact that they're paired with a great unsigned group like The Story So Far, it's a concert you cannot miss.
