‘The Story of Frozen; Making A Disney Animated Classic’: Movie magic revealed

"The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic" will have kids gathered around the television and thinking about Olaf, Anna and Elsa from the popular film “Frozen.” The ABC special is the first look at the behind the scenes of making the animated movie and it is expected to impress. According to USA Today on Tuesday, the fans of the show will be taken to the Norwegian villages and landscapes that inspired the look of the fictional kingdom of Arendelle.

The special will be hosted by Josh Gad, who voiced Olaf in the film, and will feature interviews with Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, John Lasseter and the "Frozen" filmmaking team. While viewers of the movie have seen outtakes and some behind the scenes, but this special offers a look at the making of the movie not currently on any of the DVDs.

As the filmmaking team works, the viewers get a chance to see how the picture started and all the effort that went into this creative process. Everyone will also get a rare look inside Walt Disney Animation Studios where the artists, crew and cast came together to make the movie. Sharing how a studio puts together such an amazing production, this special will answer many questions fans had about the feature film.

Viewers will get a chance to hear from the filmmakers themselves, but don’t expect the lingering question of when there will be a “Frozen 2” movie. So far the studio has been quiet on what might happen with the films and that includes if there will be a sequel.

“The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic” airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
