The time has rolled around once again for us native Texans to dawn our coboy hats, and wranglers. The tradition of grabbing the kids for a day of eating fair foods, while scoping out amazing attractions, is back again with many familiar sights. Returning again this year is the amazing bird's of the world show, hosted by Mr. Steve Martin.
This is an amazing display of feathered friends from around the globe. This isn't your typical bird show, because in addition to parrots, there are also raptors, crows and many other types of birds. The message of the show isn't just to showcase the amazing natural talents of these birds, but to also raise awareness and education about these birds. You'll learn about endangered birds in the world, as well as how many species have their habitat in jeopardy. This is truly one of the most amazing bird shows there is to be had. The show is also designed so that not only are people young, and old informed, but also entertained. At the end of the show, you're given the chance to get up close, and personal with many birds, that you may never have the chance to see ever again.
So before you leave the state fair, don't forget to grab a seat, curl up with your deep fried frito pie, and prepared to be amazed at Stever Martin's birds of the world show. The fair will be in town until October 17th, and the show runs 4 times daily at the band shell theatre.
