The Stars shined on the red carpet at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards

On last night's 'Golden Globes' we were all there to see who won the best film & TV honors & let's be honest, to also see who brought it to the red carpet.

We learned that green is the new black, as evidenced by Angelina who glowed in green in her Versace, and of course with her best accessory Brad. Also glowing in green were Catherine Zeta Jones & Mila Kunis. Another trend of the night were stars who were pretty in pink, most notably Natalie Portman & Sandra Bullock. January Jones wore a knock-out red Versace dress. It made my one of my faves of the night. Another fave was Olivia Wilde's Marchesa dress which I loved. I also liked Jennifer Lopez's dress. That girl has style, and you can tell it's not all due to a stylst because she always seems to get it right..dress, hair & makeup. I'm looking forward to seeing what she brings to the upcoming season of 'American Idol.' I'll be tuning in to see her more than I will the contestants. Clare Danes kept it classy & sleek in trendy pink at what was the most emotional point of the night when she accepted her award for her outstanding role as Temple Grandin, who was also in attendance and hugged on Clare for what seemed like an eternity for a congratulatory hug before she went on stage. Halle Barry thank goodness, is back to my fave pixie haircut on her & looked stunning in a Nina Ricci dress. Sandra Bullock wore extra long fun bangs in her pink Jenny Packham dress. Annette Bening looked great as she accepted her award & I love how she rocked the nerdy chic glasses look. Although not accepting any award but just there to give a speech, it should be noted how great Michelle Pfeiffer still looks.

Other highlights of the night went to Helena Bonham Carter who braved the night in Vivian Westwood & 2 different colored shoes!  Now that's making a statement. We also saw Angelina Jolie  applying lip gloss during the awards. Not sure why everyone is so flipped out about it. The Globe show attendees are eating & drinking during the show, so hello, a girls got to put on her gloss. It made her more human to me as she can appear to be such a goddess sometimes. Nice to know they don't have makeup artists waiting in the wings to do that. I did my research and in case you are wondering, it's being reported that Angelina uses Chantecaille Brilliant lipgloss. It's a good bet that the shade she wore is Charm, as that's what her make up artist said she used for her in the movie 'Salt.'

In case you missed it, or want another look, I have attached a slide show where I've assembled some of the night's best looks.  I'm looking forward to the S.A.G awards airing on Sunday January 30 & then onto the Oscars to see once again who will win & equally important, what everyone will be wearing.
