The Star Launch: Dre Allen & The Dre Allen Project live at the The Viper Room in Hollywood, Apr 17

Dre Allen & The Dre Allen Project (his band) is performing live at the The Viper Room in Hollywood on Saturday, Apr 17. 

The album Recovery is scheduled for release in Summer 2010, featuring Spencer "Gunslunglow" Blair and Jefferey David. He also produced and directed with his production partners Suite7, a four music short-film series. 

About Dre Allen:

Dre is a singer, songwriter, music producer, film & music director  from Northern California and now resides in Hollywood, California.  He was the founding member of R&B Group IV Xample, which debut album For Example sold over 500,000 copies worldwide and hit single I'd Rather Be Alone

Dre has written for recording artist Master P, Lil Romeo, Outkast, Babyface, Az Yet, Will Downing, Montel Jordan, Kenny Lattimore, En Vogue, Stevie B and Jesse Powell to name a few.

Dre's debut solo album called L.Y.F.E. had sold over 24,000 copies online and through non-traditional retail outlets. His second album was called Ghetto Rockstar was launched and distributed by Tommy Boy Records but later transferred to his independent label called Moviemakers Entertainment.
