“14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.”(Romans 8:14-15)
Foster care and adoption are ways that children and youth find homes. The successes of these structures are connected to families. These families have decided to love and care for others that need them. The love should drive away fear of being without a family that cares for them. An adoption makes them permanent member of the family.
God gives His love to the world especially to believers in Jesus. He gives believers His Holy Spirit. Every believer has been adopted into God’s family. He is their Father. God makes each one a permanent member of His household. He drives out fear and shows them His love and care. The Holy Spirit helps confirm this adoption and gives leadership to the believer concerning their inheritance.
Believers’, you are now God’s children and have received His Spirit. There is no need to fear, but accept His adoption to call Him, Father/Daddy.
Praise you Father!
