A rich and intoxicating luminous floral that leaves a lasting impression. Beyoncé Rise, the scent of empowerment, features Beyoncés favorite flower, the Orchid. The Gold Symphony Orchid and Golden Apricot form a delightful duet creating a bold statement that is also playful.
Women’s Wear Daily reports more about the inspiration behind the scent: “The fragrance concept is a about female empowerment and finding the inner strength that makes women so beautiful, Beyoncé has done a lot of fruity florals, she’s done gourmands, pulse was this electric citrus-y floral. This is sexy and sophisticated. We tested it in multiple countries with excellent results,” said Marsha Brooks, Vice President of Global Marketing at Coty Beauty.
Beyoncé launched her new perfume Rise early 2014. The fragrance is more intimate and more natural than the previous ones, inspired by the works of singer's favorite poet Maya Angelou. The composition is announced as intoxicating, addictive and luminous floral created by Loc Dong. Its opening notes include apricot, Italian bergamot and iced basil sorbet.
The main note of the perfume is, of course, orchid and this time it is an orchid called "Golden Symphony", which is mixed with freesia and Sambac jasmine flowers and placed at the base of the autumn woods, cashmere, musk and vetiver
Italian Bergamot, Golden Apricot, Iced Basil Sorbet
Gold Symphony Orchid, Freesia Blossom, Natural Jasmine Sambac

The R&B songstress released her new fragrance, Rise, with a 30 second promo video for the perfume in which she rises out of a glittery gold dustbowl. In the all gold 30-second commercial shot by Jake Nava, Beyoncé says, "You can let yourself disappear, or you can stir things up. Never settle, shake loose. Embrace the elements. Because from now on, you will always Rise!"
