The Soundtrack of Summer tour featuring Styx, Foreigner and special guest, former Eagles guitarist/songwriter, Don Felder kicked off on Wednesday, May 14 with a sold-out show in Wichita, KS at the Intrust Bank Arena The three-month U.S. trek is slated to stop in Cincinnati at the Horseshoe Casino on Thursday, June 5. Felder will open the show at 7 p.m.

In addition to the live music featured on the concert tour, the bands have released several new album projects. In conjunction with the 2014 summer tour, Foreigner and Styx have released a project of the same title, “The Soundtrack of Summer,” which was made available exclusively at Walmart, beginning on May 6. The project features 16 classics from both bands, including Foreigner hits such as, “Cold As Ice,” “Juke Box Hero” and “I Want To Know What Love Is. Several of the Styx favorites include “The Grand Illusion,” “Blue Collar Man” and “Renegade.” The CD also features a new collaborative rendition of “Hotel California.” from Felder, Styx and Foreigner.
Felder also recently re-released his critically acclaimed solo album, “Road To Forever: Extended Edition” in March, which includes four additional songs: “Can’t Stop Now,” “Southern Bound,” “She Runs Free” and “Sensuality.”
