Tonight is "The Sound of Music Live" starring Carrie Underwood and viewers are really excited about watching this one. On Dec. 4, E! Online shared about the cast of this new version of the movie and who will be playing the Von Trapp children. Are you excited to watch it?
Carrie Underwood will be playing Maria and Stephen Moyer of "True Blood" is playing Captain Von Trapp. Of course these are the two main characters and everyone knows who they are already. Carrie did admit she is afraid of falling and you can read more here. The children in the movie are all going to be new faces to the entertainment industry and this could jump start their careers.
Here is who the Von Trapp children will be played by tonight: Ariane Rinehart (Liesl), Michael Nigro (Fredrich), Ella Watts-Gorman (Louisa), Joe West (Kurt), Sophia Caruso (Brigitta), Grace Rundhaug (Marta) and Peyton Ella (Gretl). Of course it couldn't have been easy to find children that can pass as siblings, but it looks like they did a great job. Hopefully they all do great in their live performance.
"The Sound of Music Live" will air at 7 p.m. CST in the Oklahoma City area on Dec. 5. Please like my Facebook for the latest in entertainment news.
