The song that pays tribute to Detroit tops the list for Kiss fans

Detroit has been called ‘the home of rock and roll’ by many musicians. The Motor City is the hometown to many a rock and roller from Bob Seger to Kid Rock.

Although they don’t hail from Detroit, Kiss remains one of the city’s favorite bands. It’s no wonder why the band recorded ‘Detroit Rock City’ as a tribute to our one of a kind city.

Interestingly, in a recent Classic Rock Magazine poll, the anthem was voted the favorite Kiss song, ever.
