A Daily Word from the Word for Wednesday, September 4, 2013
“You are snared by the words of your mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth.” – Proverbs 6:2
A few nights ago, I had a dream which greatly disturbed me. In this dream, I saw a very large container, like those on gigantic cargo ships. This container was a huge metal airtight sarcophagus. Although I couldn’t see the people in there, I heard them; and they were many. And these deceived souls didn’t even realize that they were trapped in this pitch black, dark, and asphyxiating tomb.
I then saw Satan pass through the sealed door of this box, with a very large black machine gun in his hand. I heard shooting which seemed to go on for a long while, and then there was complete silence. All those inside had been snuffed out by the devil. I could do nothing but witness this catastrophic event. And it was horrific.
Understandably, I woke up disturbed in my spirit, and asked the Lord what was this all about. The Lord told me that people are playing a very dangerous game, a type of ‘Russian roulette’ with their very souls. That many individuals have come into agreement with the accuser of the brethren, and have no atonement for their sins; which is the sinless, spotless, Blood of Jesus.
“They think it is a game,” The Lord continued, “something to be taken lightly. And certainly the devil is going to let them continue to play unhindered, because this evil demon knows the more who play, the more will end up paying—not only with their mortal lives, but with their eternal souls. And the enemy will keep silent, allowing these godless people to continue to blaspheme against the Most High God, which is furthering and solidifying their entrapment to eternal damnation until that day of reckoning when Satan himself steps in, seals the deal, and destroys those blasphemers with their own wicked words. And because they rejected my Son time and time again, He is forced to stay on the outside looking in while the devil takes them out for all eternity. Had they called to My Son, Jesus, their only protection, the devil would not have been allowed to have his way with these. But now it is too late, and they have permanently and unalterably sealed their own fate. They have chosen Satan as their father.” I pray this not be you!
According to Ira Milligan (Understanding the Dreams you Dream © 2010), guns and bullets mean “words, accusations, slander, gossip.” Our study verse testifies of this truth: “You are snared by the words of your mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth.” Saint James laments “Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so” (James 3:10). The Apostle Peter declared "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (John 6:68). Depending who we have within us determines where we will go and spend eternity.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, God deposits His Living Word inside of us; which protects us, keeps us safe, and nullifies the accusations of the devil. But when we live a godless life, rejecting the gift of eternal salvation, then the devil will collect; and when this dark demon does, there will be no more opportunity for atonement because the sacrifice, the Living Savior, will be removed and out of reach from those who, by their own wicked words, chose to speak death over their eternal soul because they rejected Life Himself.
Matthew 10:28 sounds the warning call: “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
And when the accuser gladly grants the ungodly their request, by springing the trap which seals their fate on that devastating day, and goes in for the kill by using their own words as a deadly weapon against these godless beings; there will be no one able to save them because of the One they mocked and rejected. The only thing left to do is to hear the wails and gnashing of teeth as they begin their eternal and horrific journey in unending separation from the Father and seethe in perpetual damnation.
Father, thank You for giving us Your Son as our gift of Salvation. Thank You, Most Loving and Holy Father, that You, Who so loved the world, gave us Your only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For You, Oh God, did not send Your Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:16-17). Father, we pray earnestly this day, that those who have rejected you, will heed your call for eternal life this day by repenting of their wicked ways, renouncing sin, and receiving Your Son as their personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name, we thank You that we have been set free because who the Son sets free is free indeed! (John 8:36). Amen and Amen!
Take action! Challenge your thinking! Choose to come out of the darkness and walk in God’s marvelous light of Love through the door of the Savior. Choose to allow Jesus to remove you from the struggle of the snare before it is too late, and Satan springs the eternal trap of damnation, which is eternal separation from the Father, Who is Love. And continue to fight the good fight of allowing the Greater One Who lives in You to speak on your behalf; for God, Your Living Word, has already given you the victory!
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!
